VKN Revision och Rådgivning was started by Katarina Nygren in 2018. Ms Nygren previously worked at Ernst & Young, EY from 1989 and has been a chartered accountant since 1990. Through her career, Ms Nygren has worked with owner-managed companies as well as large multinational enterprises. In 1995 Ms Nygren became branch manager for the EY office in Västerås with 30 employees, she then went on to become regional manager and partner at EY Sweden from 2000-2015. Ms Nygren runs VKN Revision och Rådgivning together with a team of four employees. Clients include owner-managed companies of all sizes as well as multinational enterprises with foreign owners. In addition to solid knowledge base concerning owner-managed companies, the firm has broad experience from a variety of sectors, with particular expertise in consultancy, manufacturing, retail, construction, installation and property management. VKN cooperates with specialists within tax and law as well as other areas as needed. The firm adheres to FARs recommendations concerning corporate practices as well as staff training and development. Employees regularly attend courses to keep up to date with the developments with the field. For employees seeking to become chartered accountants individual plans are drawn up. We work in accordance with standards set by International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board and follow Swedish good auditing practices. VKN follows FAR recommendations and the Swedish Inspectorate of Auditors (SIA) regulations for quality assurance and control.
